Muslim and Hindu are the two dominating religions that have the biggest influence on the food that has been coined as Indian cuisine. Hindu is more of a vegetarian cuisine while Muslim tradition is dominated by cooking a lot of meat. Rice, curry, meat balls, and kabaas are all pretty big deals in Indian cuisine.
