This neighbourhood has been at the top for many years and it's simply because it's a great place to live. However, it didn't win this year by as much as usual and many voters also see it as an overrated neighbourhood in some ways. Regardless, Strathcona still provides plenty of charm.
Known as not only one of the top neighbourhoods, but also as one of the most overrated, Glenora is a very established choice within the city. It's full of very large lots and plenty of dream homes. Glenora is also located very close to the downtown core.
The most densely populated choice in Edmonton, Oliver is full of pedestrians. It's a top neighbourhood because of the serene river valley and the close location to downtown.
This neighbourhood has been at the top for a while. Its tree-lined streets and shopping district make it a very popular choice. You will find a mixture of detached homes and apartment buildings throughout the Westmount neighbourhood.
A neighbourhood becoming more popular, Highlands is known as one of the top choice for many. The homes are quite large and it's one of the historic neighbourhoods in the city. It celebrated its 100th birthday in 2012 and most of the homes were constructed before 1960.
