Westridge Real Estate Market
Today, Westridge is still largely a residential area. It is a long and narrow piece of land that stretches all the way into the North Saskatchewan River Valley. The community is bounded on the north by Patricia Ravine and to the south by Wolf Willow Ravine. The southeast portion has a great view of the North Saskatchewan River Valley, while on the west, it is bounded by 170 Street.
Most of the housing units found in Westridge are single family dwellings. There are a few row houses as well. The interior road network is made of long curvilinear roads and keyhole crescents. There are also a good number of strategically located pathways that make pedestrian travel safe and pleasant.
Westridge Community Amenities
In the middle of the neighbourhood is the Westridge Park, a sprawling property that provides residents with plenty of space for outdoor recreation activities.
And since the northwest portion of the neighbourhood lies close to the 170 Street interchange with White Mud Drive, residents enjoy good access to South Edmonton, especially to notable destinations like Fort Edmonton Park, the University of Alberta, and the commercial hub of Old Strathcona.
The biggest shopping centre near Westridge is the West Edmonton Mall, which can be accessed north of the neighbourhood via 170 Street.
