Upcoming Event: Edmonton Airshow

The Edmonton Airshow is a showcase of aviation evolution in Edmonton. It seeks to entertain people from all walks of life of the wonders of aviation through fantastic Airshow stunts and performances from the best of the best pilots and avionics experts around the world.

What to Expect

Expect thrilling air stunts done by top performers and pilots as well as historical to modern airplanes that will be used for the show. The venue, Villeneuve Airport, will be jam packed with visitors, all wanting to get a great view of the stunts. There will also be plenty of airplanes that visitors can check out as well as stands where visitors may purchase souvenirs and find information about the event.

When and Where

The Edmonton Airshow will take place at the Villeneuve Airport on August 22nd and 23rd. The Villeneuve Airport is located on the northwest sideof Edmonton. This is approximately 15 kilometres from St. Albert. Visitors are requested to be at the airport early since the show starts at 1pm. The venue gates will open at exactly 10am.

Who Can Watch the Show?

The Edmonton Airshow is a family event. Anyone can come and watch. It does not matter if you are an avionics enthusiast or not, you will surely enjoy the stunts, thrills and learning about avionics history. The Airshow venue is safe for all guests and this includes those with special disability concerns. Visitors coming with their private vehicles will enjoy free parking.

About Edmonton Airshow

The Edmonton Airshow supports local organizations that help the community. Portions of the profits of the show will be directed to these groups. The Airshow is also partners with the Alberta Aviation Museum, the Edmonton Garrison Military Resource Centre and the YESS (Youth Empowerment & Support Services).

The show is produced by RWE Events, a non-profit organization that produce vents that celebrate the community and support local talent, businesses and communities.
