New and exciting restaurant are opening in Edmonton all the time. However, there are some Edmonton standards that have been running steady for years. Here are some of the top spots to go back to if it has been a while.

Packrat Louie Kitchen and Bar - 10335 83 Avenue

This spot is found just a few steps from Whyte Avenue, which puts it in a popular spot. You can enjoy the brick-lined restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. They use a wood-burning oven to provide plenty of great meals from beef tenderloin to rack of lamb. Of course, the wine list provides plenty of choices, as well.

La Ronde at the Chateau Lacombe - 10111 Bellamy Hill Road

When you step into this restaurant, you will be treated to the only revolving restaurant in the city. It opened in 1967 and has been very popular ever since. They provide Sunday brunch with plenty of great choices, along with regular lunch and dinner service.

Red Ox Inn - 9420 91 Street

One of the finest restaurants in Edmonton, Red Ox Inn may only have 12 tables, but they provide a great place to dine. The ambiance is perfect for a romantic date and the meals are amazing for any occasion. Enjoy excellent trout or choose one of the many other seafood dishes here.

Normand's - 11639 Jasper Avenue

A fine dining spot with plenty to offer, Normand's has been open since 1989. This restaurant has stayed the same, for the most part, over the years and provides some of the best wild game in the area. Enjoy musk ox, pheasant, wild board and many other choices here.

There are plenty of Edmonton standards ready to bring you back time and time again. If you haven't been to these restaurants in a while, make your reservation and enjoy a classic choice in Edmonton this weekend.
