Though much of Stony Plain is agricultural, and its economy is based in this sector, it is a welcoming and warm place to buy a home. Perhaps most noticeable and unique are the number of bright murals located throughout the city. Many of them paint the picture of the area’s history. The area is also home to a number of cultural events and locations. This includes the Multicultural Heritage Centre.
