Valentine's Day will soon be here, and for many, this means a night on the town is in order. There's plenty to do and see in and around the Edmonton communities on Valentine's Day, and it may be hard to find the ideal event. Here are four events taking place around Valentine's Day, whether you're looking for a party, a date, or a creative outlet.

In this class taught by Chandell Popik, an Albertan-born glass artist, participants will spend a couple of hours creating a heart-shaped bowl. The workshop includes all materials and instructions, and no experience is needed! Whether you want the bowl to be a gift for a special someone or already know where you want to display it in your home, it's sure to be a statement piece.
Be My Valentine Bash: Edmonton Speed Dating

If you fall in the 25–39 age range, the Be My Valentine Bash is a speed dating event for those who want a relaxed way to connect with a new date. Participants will meet at the Evario Kitchen + Bar, and they can have a drink and mingle after they've arrived. Once the event begins, participants will have the chance to speak to each other in rotation to decide who they would like to get to know more about. It's a casual event where participants can be themselves, with no pressure or expectations beyond finding someone they connect with.
