The boundaries of the neighbourhood are 156 Street to the west, 95 Avenue to the north, 92 Avenue to the south and 149 Street to the east. The surrounding neighbourhoods include Jasper Park to the south, West Jasper Place to the north, Meadowlark Park to the west and Parkview to the east. The neighbourhood is home to over 1300 residents. The neighbourhood is a variety of older homes built just after World War II alongside many homes built in the 2000s.
The single family home is the most common type of residential building in the area, accounting for 63% of all residences. Apartments make up 34% while duplexes account for the remaining 3% of all residential buildings in the area. It is estimated that 56% of all residential buildings in the neighbourhood are occupied by the owner while 44% are rental property.

Pathways are placed strategically throughout the area to promote safe pedestrian and bicycle travel. There are shopping and medical facilities at the Meadowlark Health and Shopping Centre in Meadowlark Park, which adjoins to the neighbourhood to the west. Jasper Gates Shopping Centre can be accessed via 149 Street.
There is one public school, Sherwood Elementary School, located in the adjoining neighbourhood to the north in West Jasper Place.
