Chapelle Real Estate Market
Chapelle is located along the southwest of Edmonton. It is within the Heritage Valley, making it included in the original neighbourhood 10, which in turn is part of the Heritage Valley Servicing Concept Design Brief. The community is bounded by the Whitemud Creek on the west, 25 Avenue on the north, 127 Street (currently being developed/constructed) on the east, and 41 Avenue on the south.
The neighbourhood is one of the newest in the city. It was established only in 2008. That establishment was facilitated through the Chapelle neighbourhood Area Structure Plan or NASP. Chapelle NASP is in response to present and expected market demands in Edmonton.
Up to 253 hectares of the NASP area will be allotted for residential purposes. About 162 hectares will house low density residential dwellings like single detached and duplex homes. About 19 hectares will be street-oriented residential areas, mostly of row houses. Other planned residential developments include town houses, low-rise apartments, and high density residential units.
Chapelle Community Amenities
The development will include two commercial sites, to house many other amenities that residents will need. Those will be concentrated along 25 Avenue and 141 Street. Residents can also easily access amenities that are available at nearby Heritage Valley Town Centre. Commercial centers within the community will be just within walking distances from residential areas. Those will also be accessible through internal neighbourhood linkages. Again, walkability will be facilitated to promote healthier living.
