Rhatigan Ridge Community Amenities
As the name implies, this neighbourhood is on a high point of land overlooking the North Saskatchewan River valley. The boundaries are Terwillegar Drive to the east, Rabbit Hill Road to the south, 40 Avenue to the north and the North Saskatchewan River to the west. Riverbend Road is a main road bisecting the north area of the neighbourhood. Interior roads are curvy and often end in cul-de-sacs to help keep traffic away from the residential areas and more towards the main roads. Pathways have been placed strategically around the area to help promote safe pedestrian and bicycle traffic.
The neighbourhood is surrounded by the communities of Ramsay Heights to the north, Falconer Heights to the south, Bulyea Heights to the east and Henderson Estates to the West.

There are several public parks in the area for children and outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy recreational activities. There are two schools in the community; a public elementary school: Earl Buxton Elementary School, and a private Christian school: St. Mary Elementary School.
